TILLIE ROUTH

Tillie was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming and attended Kelly Walsh High School. After high school, she postponed attending college and began raising a family. She has three children of her own and three step children, all boys. Tillie graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1998 with a degree in History and Women’s Studies, and went on to receive her second bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1999. Tillie earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2002. During her tenure as an undergraduate student, Tillie’s research into domestic violence statistics in the State of Wyoming was published in the Journal of Criminal Justice.
Tillie has practiced in the areas of criminal prosecution, criminal defense, juvenile law, family law, domestic violence law, personal injury and insurance defense. She has had extensive trial experience and training in all areas of her practice, with a focus on trial practice, motions practice, dynamics of domestic abuse and legal issues concerning children and adolescents.
Tillie is admitted to practice before the state courts of Wyoming, the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Wyoming
